Panhandle Pride, Inc. focuses on three impact areas including diversity, equity, and inclusion; awareness and understanding; and health, safety and wellbeing.  Our goal is to strengthen organizations by sharing their mission; organizing with purpose; advocating for our community; providing financial assistance; and keeping everyone informed.

Awareness & Understanding Community Council

The Awareness & Understanding Community Council consists of three Panhandle Pride members and other interested persons in the Community.  The purpose of the Council is to promote programs and training to bring awareness and understanding to people about bias against our community.  The Council also grants annual scholarships to LGBTQIAP+ people.  A Chair and Vice Chair are elected by the members and the Chair of the Council serves on the Panhandle Pride Board of Directors.
